Susan Santos was/is my grandma. Oops... she would hate me calling her by her name. Sorry grandma! Grandma, my uncle Tyler, and I went on a little trip down to San Francisco a few months ago. Short story: Bart(the train thing, not Bart Simpson), beach, walk, awesome restaurant, clam chowder, huge lollipop, more walk, Bart again, happy. How about I go into a little more detail? So, Grandma had gone on little day trips with Aunt Marcy, her sister, and wanted me to come on one with her. Her son/ my uncle(the afore mentioned Tyler), tagged along. We went on the Bart, which was awesome, and went under the Bay in the Tube(it runs under the Bay[you should really check it out]) There were these murals that were graffiti but weren't really graffiti, which were also awesome. Next we went to the beach and walked, but did NOT swim, all the way to this sand castle building tournament, which was ALSO AWESOME, and saw some really pretty sculptures. Then, we went to this awesome restaurant, where we were told that we had to wait 30 minutes. We actually ended up sitting down by the bar and ordering clam chowder from the appetizers menu! We went to the gift shop after that and got some stuff. I got a HUGE lollipop and a book on Alcatraz. We walked off our lunch on the way back to the Bart and went home. It was one of the most fun trips I've ever had. Thank you Grandma.
